Join us for the Techno Maze Party No. 2, the inaugural event of No Sound System!

Everything began in September 2023 during the Techno Maze Party, a private event I organized. Although the party took place in a field in the countryside, I ran into a major issue: disturbing the neighbors with noise. After some thought, only one solution became clear if I wanted to keep this location: creating a soundproof structure. So I built a 120 m² structure using straw bales, which required 150 bales, amounting to 75 tons of straw. The event was a huge success, proving just how useful such an innovation could be. This success convinced me to take things further. But straw is a heavy, restrictive, and impractical material. So I set myself a new challenge: to find a more efficient, modular, and sustainable alternative.

What is No Sound System

Today, the project is almost ready to come to life. All that’s left is the final approval of the structure by the engineers and the purchase of the structure. I’m reaching out to you now to give the project a real boost. The concept is innovative and unique, sometimes, that very originality can make traditional investors hesitant. Your support here is, in reality, an advance on the ticket you would have reserved in a few months’ time. In other words, by contributing now, you’re helping make this idea possible

The genesis of the project

I’ve always loved organizing parties. After the Techno Maze Party, I decided to take things to the next level: to go all-in on event production and create a fully soundproof structure. My goal is simple: to make parties limitless (in time of course)! Instead of using traditional straw bales which are heavy, restrictive, and impractical, I spent a year testing different alternatives. The result? The creation of innovative plastic modules that integrate three layers of sound insulation, each targeting a different frequency range. Two of these insulating materials are made from recycled components. These blocks, which stack together like LEGO bricks, can be used to build structures of any shape or size. The more blocks I have, the larger the venue can become. Tested by Buildwise laboratory, the results are excellent: a 30 cm block reduced the noise by 52 dB out of an initial 110 dB! To ensure stability, the modules are supported by an aluminum frame, which also holds up the roof.

So far, the development of the modules has been funded entirely with my own savings. After two years of research and development, the project is mature enough to seek additional funds. Today, thanks to this crowdfunding campaign, I can keep the project moving forward. This project, with your support, will become our project! Depending on the amount raised, several milestones will allow us to take key steps together:

Goal 1 – €20,000:

Main goal: to fund the work of engineers in order to produce detailed technical plans of the structure. With these plans, I’ll be able to present a solid, comprehensive project to future investors.

Goal 2 – €30,000:

In addition to funding the engineers, this amount will cover the purchase of the first soundproof boxes
